Philosophy
I bring a unique perspective to my practice, not just from my clinical experience but also from my personal journey.
I immigrated to Los Angeles from El Salvador at the age of six, raised in South Central LA by a single mother in a low socioeconomic neighborhood.
My personal experiences with loss, trauma, and the challenges of navigating a new country have deeply influenced my approach to care.
I understand the profound impact that life’s challenges can have on mental health, and I’m committed to providing care that is compassionate, non-judgmental, grounded in real-life experience and personalized to your needs.
Mental Health in My Life
My passion for mental health was also shaped by my family’s experiences.
With loved ones who have battled bipolar disorder, depression, and addiction, I’ve witnessed firsthand the toll these conditions can take.
These experiences have fueled my dedication to helping others navigate their mental health challenges, offering a compassionate ear and providing evidence-based treatment.
City Girl at Heart
Beyond my professional life, I’m a proud South Central LA native who speaks fluent Spanish.
I’m loyal, trustworthy, and a problem solver with a go-getter attitude.
Music is a big part of my life—I have an ear for good tunes, especially Oldies, but I also have a surprising love for punk rock and enjoy live shows.
These interests keep me grounded and remind me of the importance of balancing work with the joys of life.
